Millie E. De Long was born in 1940 in San Antonio, Texas. She was educated in the public school system in San Antonio. She is married and resides in San Antonio with her husband of 35 years. Millie attended Palo Alto Community College , where she discovered her love of writing and acting. Millie was featured along with eight other families in “Still Here”, an oral history of the Westside of San Antonio published by the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center. Millie told her family’s story orally and contributed to its translation on paper. This experience inspired Millie to explore all the possibilities of becoming a published author. This is Millie’s first book.
