Kathryn Haueisen earned a degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and set to work working in public relations, first at The Defiance College, a small liberal arts college, and then her alma mater, Bowling Green State University, before heading home to establish a freelance writing career. During that time, she taught Adult Continuing Education classes on freelance writing. Her first novel, Asunder, was her first hybrid publishing adventure. Green Writers Press will release her historic fiction Mayflower Chronicles: The Tale of Two Cultures in 2020.
Her articles have appeared in such publications as Writer’s Digest, Marriage & Family Living, House Beautiful, Highlights for Children, Camping Journal, and a variety of faith-based and regional publications.
She writes weekly blogs at www.howwisethen.com, focusing on people and programs making useful contributions to the common good.
